As this is my first post, I thought I'd share the basics of skincare - First up, how to actually clean your skin.

Cleansing is very very important in every single skincare routine. Our skin goes through a lot in a day, so it's important we properly clean it.

Step one is to figure out your skin type, knowing your skin type is important to deciding which type of cleanser that you're going to be using for your skin.

Step two is to find a good cleanser. I'm going to recommend my personal favorite ones, if you have combination to oily skin my favorite cleanser in the world is:

Youth to the People Kale and Green Tea Spinach Cleanser
Purchase from: Sephora

I love this one because it really does a good job of just getting all the dirt and grime out of your skin but doesn't leave your skin feeling dry and tight afterwards and it's an amazing cleanser.

If you have more dry skin then I recommend:

Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser from Krave Beauty
Purchase from: timeless-uk

This one is so good it delivers more hydration and it's more gentle on the skin which is exactly what someone with dry skin needs.

If you need a quick, and easy drugstore cleaner then I recommend:

Simple Micellar Gel Wash
Purchase from: Boots, Superdrug

It's cheap, it's good, it doesn't overly strip your skin and it's just an amazing cleanser for doing what it's supposed to do.

If you're going to be finding your own cleanser two recommendations that I have is... Look at the ingredient list if the second third or fourth ingredient is sodium lauryl sulfate then I recommend do not use that cleanser because it can overly strip or damage your skin.

In addition if you find a cleanser that has a scrub in it absolutely avoid it at all costs.

Hope this helps!
